Services

Two ways in. One outcome: a project that ships.

The first conversation is free. The first paid engagement is fixed-price, time-boxed and refundable. After that, we only continue if there is real work to do.

Most consultancies sell hours. We sell shipped systems. Different incentives produce different work.

Problem call

No charge. No deck. No follow-up scope-creep email.

Bring the constraint. We will give you a yes/no on whether Thrucible should work on it, plus the next concrete step, on the call. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you what kind of consultancy is.

Delivery Path Assessment

A fixed-price, time-boxed answer to "what would it actually take to ship this?"

You get four artefacts your team can use the day we hand over:

  • An architecture decision record (the call we would make and why)
  • A risk-ranked delivery sequence with named dates and dependencies
  • A build / buy / partner recommendation with numbers, not adjectives
  • A customer-facing technical narrative your sales team can use Monday

Guarantee: if at the readout you do not have a credible delivery path, you pay nothing.

After the assessment

Build, advise or hand back.

Once the path is clear, you choose: bring us in to build the difficult slice ourselves; advise your team while they ship; or hand back with the artefacts and we walk away. No retainers we do not earn. No hours-padding.

Engagement length depends on the problem, not on what we want to bill. We do not pretend three weeks of work is a six-month programme.

AI / product

AI integration that ships

Real AI features in real products. We help define the use case, draw the data and API boundaries, integrate models, design human escalation, instrument failure modes and ship something that survives a Tuesday afternoon in production. Most recent ETS engagement: a full API remap, an SDK and an open-source reference AI integration so each customer of the platform can roll their own surface against their own data and policies.

  • AI feature feasibility, scope and acceptance criteria
  • OpenAI / Anthropic / Azure model integration with data boundaries
  • Evaluation, human-in-the-loop review, logging and failure handling
  • Prototype-to-production architecture and supportability planning
Rescue · fixed deadline

Rescues, fixed-deadline delivery and roadmap pressure

When a previous partner has missed the date and the launch is already public, or a strategic customer is asking for capability the product was not designed to ship, we compress ambiguity into a plan that engineering will actually build — and finish it. Most recent: KPMG's 12th Floor Welcome Lobby at Canada Square — we picked up the design and the Good / Better / Best costing after another partner missed the deadline and spent the budget. The lobby opened on time.

  • Good / Better / Best decision matrix so the client buys back the schedule by choosing compromises rather than negotiating each item
  • Translate enterprise asks into product decisions, not bespoke promises
  • System and dependency mapping with risk register
  • Customer-facing technical narrative for sales and leadership
Hardware / AV

AV, hardware and home theatre delivery

Twenty-seven years designing AV systems, since 1998. Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Bose Dante, Sharp, Lindy USB matrix, ceiling microphones, IP cameras. We have rescued KPMG's 12th Floor Welcome Lobby at Canada Square after another partner missed the deadline and spent the budget — Good / Better / Best decision framework, full equipment specification, signal flow, supplier coordination and commissioning checklist, handed over on time.

  • Hardware concept, specification and supplier coordination
  • AV integration, collaboration rooms and Crestron control workflows
  • Home theatre design, equipment planning and commissioning
  • Rescue work where another contractor stalled or budget vanished
Embedded

Embedded, edge and protocol-bridge systems

From USB-HID interaction devices to protocol bridges and field-deployed firmware: hardware that has to behave like a standard device, ship in volume and survive support.

  • Firmware and protocol bridge architecture
  • HID, touch, AV and collaboration device design
  • OTA, diagnostics and supportability planning
  • Hardware-to-cloud edge workflows that work in the field
Operations

Bespoke internal tools and workflow automation

Focused private tools around real workflows, especially when generic SaaS does too much, too little or sends sensitive data somewhere it should not go.

  • Workflow discovery and system design
  • Private web apps and operational dashboards
  • Data ownership, integration and audit planning
  • Automation that keeps a human in the loop
